How much confidence do you put into your horoscope and sign?
I always think it’s a little silly. But I’m a Scorpio and every single time I read the description or anything about it it describes me almost perfectly!

None. I refuse to be a stereotype of any kind. Even if there is proof of astrology. Most of the personality descriptions are vague and can be applied most other people. My main personality feature that is never mentioned is that I’m a critical thinker. Why is this not mentioned?

Well…I’m a Gemini and the personality traits of a Gemini match me quite well…But I mean I don’t base my life around reading the ‘scopes. When reading my daily/weekly prediction I tend to read it at the END of the day/week, I know that seems pointless but then I know whether it was anywhere near it or not, because if you read it at the beginning you’re likely to be trying to make what it says happen, be it consciously or subconsciously.

How do I find out more about my horoscope chart thing?
A lot of people seem to know about these
moon rising and whatever, i dont understand it.
Is there some place i can go to get a birth chart or w/e
and understand it?

I tend to go to Astrodienst (http://astro.com) to get star charts. They do the full layout and will give you a fairly lengthy interpretation for free.

As a brief overview your chart is divided into several areas, although for your astrological interpretation starting out it would be best to focus just on the planetary aspects. Your Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus and Pluto are based on which constellations the planets were in at the time of birth. Your ascendant or rising sign is which constellation was coming over the horizon at the time of your birth.

Your Sun sign is what you use for your general daily horoscope and is in essence your base personality, attitude and even features to a certain extent. Your Moon sign influences more of your emotional nature. Mercury is how you deal with communication and intellect, Venus romance and love, relationships. Mars conflict and anger.

I’ve tended not to expand past the inner ring because often times the outer planets don’t move enough in the course of several years to have much of a varied influence on a person rather than society as a whole.
